Hello people! I'm April from Taipei, Taiwan. I recently finished my one year exchange at Guadalajara, Mexico. I love trying new things and make friends. I'm very talkative when I meet someone with similar interests.

My philosophy is to not leave any regrets, I believe there's so many once-in-a-lifetime, it's a shame not to seize the chance to explore this world.

Traveling makes me love my country even more. It isn't just about escape my comfort zone, but to experience other culture and fall in love with my own land and appreciate its beauty again.

I had couchsurfing experience in San Francisco and Mexico City, and it was absolutely amazing! I've met kind and cool people which made my stay and my trip a lot better and more interesting than I had expected it to be.

Right now I'm not hosting(hopefully one day I'll be able to host people as well), but if you stop by Taiwan I'd be glad to give you some travel advice or even show you around!

First of all, I love traveling, I do get lost all the time, which makes my journey a lot more interesting :P I like to visit natural sites, especially beaches and ocean!

Love cooking, always looking for new recipes to try on Pinterest. I can teach you how to make some awesome Taiwanese cuisine, they're amazing.

Sometimes I doodle, I find it very soothing. And I make simple hand crafts, such as bracelets and earrings.

Also, I'm a pretty active and energetic person, l do dancing, volleyball, and badminton., trying to maintain a healthy life routine.

Musica, film e libri

Music is my life, I can't live without it! I listen to various kinds of music, but rock, indie, electro swing are my favorites. My favorie bands and artists... Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, The Fratellis, Toe, Parov Stelar, Muse, Avenged Sevenfold, My Chemical Romance... there are way too many to list out!

I watch a bunch of movies,too. Quentin Tarantino's films are definitely my all time favorite! I don't have a special preference for movie genres, I have my own special kind of taste.

The most recent one is completing the Salkantay trekking in Peru and living in Mexico for a year!

I love learning new things such as foreign languages and so on, I'm open to anything new :) And it would be amazing to have someone to practice Spanish with, I really need to improve my listening and conversation skills. :P

As mentioned before, I can teach you how to cook Asian cuisine. I can also teach you Chinese!

I like telling people things about my country Taiwan. I feel like not a lot of people are familiar with it, but trust me, it's a place you definitely want to visit! So I'll be glad to share stories and experiences in Taiwan, and some other Asian countries :)
