ABOUT ME
I'm about the quirkiest minister you'd ever meet! I love everything from Viral YouTube videos to traveling, and meeting people from around the world... I have a pet turtle that I named after the New England Aquarium (of which I'm also a big fan), and I love cooking authentic Italian dishes like "Pasta al Tonna" (tuna pasta)! In terms of the God thing, I'm a total God fan, but I am also a fan of respecting other people's beliefs and giving them the space to have and express those beliefs.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a Christian. What that means to me is that I live my life (or try to), based on what I believe about Jesus. First of all, I believe God is merciful and loving, and so I try to live a life that reflects that both inwardly to myself and outwardly to those around me. Second of all, I believe that God is just and good, so I strive to do the right thing, to honor God, and to do onto others as I would have them do to me!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well... I'm new to CS, and I'm going to be traveling, so I can only be the needy one at the moment. I heard about it through my pastor who is a total hippie Couch Surfer himself :) I'm hoping that CS can help me have a fun and inexpensive experience in my travels! When I'm a bit more settled I'd also love to return the favor (especially when I'm back in Boston next year, because I give killer tours of Boston ... "Born and Raised Bostonian!")
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None officially from this website, but I've done CS in friend of friend situations. It's always struck me as amazing to roll up into a city and have someone offer you their homey little space. My favorite hosting experience was as a host for international students through Kaplan. I could go to the same tourist sights a million times with international students because I love how amazed they are to see the US for the first time!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Too hard! It depends on the week, month, or year... I love dramas like Shindler's List and Shawshank Redemption, books like The Shack and Uncle Tom's Cabin, and music like the soundtrack from "O Brother Where Art Thou" ... I'm sort of a mixed bag, I just like random stuff!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
One of the most memorable experiences of my life was visiting the museum at Hiroshima, Japan when I was 16. It was an experience that taught me how cruel humanity could be, and how resilient... how much evil there was in the world and how much hope... how much pain the human experience contained and how great the capacity to push past it really was! It really marked my adolescence!
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can share lots of thoughts on religion and spirituality and culture (or not share if it's not your thing)! I also would love to learn about other forms of belief and other cultures!
