ABOUT ME

Hey everyone, by the urging of a friend, I decided to check this site out. I am planning to take the biggest adventure of my life in February. I am doing it alone, without a partner in crime. I decided to do this solo because I need to get out of my comfort zone. I believe the trip I will be going on will help me grow as a person, help me figure myself out and come out of my shell.

I'm 27 and I'm from New Jersey. I'm very proud of where I come from and no matter where I've been or what other states I've lived in , NJ will always be my favorite. I fight for what I believe in, I fight for my family and I fight for my friends. The three things that are the most important to me. . I love laughing and making people laugh. I'm laid back and goofy. I like to be out and about most of the time so if anyone stayed with me, I'd take ya all over if you wanted. I really like burritos and tacos so I try to participate in Taco Tuesday as often as I can. I'm big into Irish things and figuring out my heritage. My grandpa came right off the boat. I can't wait to get over there and find parts of my family who still live there. I'm currently applying for dual citizenship with Ireland. SUPER excited about that. I'm not a prissy girl, I play roller derby and hockey. I'm not afraid to get hurt! I burp tooo. UHOH! I don't offend easy so you can make a you belong in the kitchen joke and I'll laugh about it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Obviously I am participating in this amazing project by doing some couch surfing of my own. Eventually I would love to be a host to anyone who finds themselves in my little part of the world. I love meeting new people, I love learning about other peoples cultures and more importantly, I love helping people out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've meet a few at the bar down the street. I'd live to host someone, it just hasn't worked out with my schedule yet. Looking forward to the first surfing!

I can teach people english, how to ride a horse or how to smash people in roller derby. I think the great thing about this whole couch surfing, is that we have the ability to teach people how we live. Even the smallest thing like how we cook can be something totally new to someone else. I just started learning Irish a few months back. It's confusing, it's hard but I want to learn it. I'd love for someone to teach me. And not jsut the good words, I want to learn the bad words as well!
