ABOUT ME

I was born in Singapore but I moved to Sydney, Australia when I was 14. It is the place of my permanent residency and where I call home. I am currently living and studying in Bordeaux, France, and will be, for a year. Here in Bordeaux, I am learning the French language and culture and hope to improve by the end of my stay! My stay in France is a component of my International Studies Degree. Back home in Australia, I study design in Fashion and Textiles. I hope to travel as much as I can around Europe and eventually the world. I want to be inspired and to see as much as I can of everything. I'm beginning to discover more and more about myself and I can't wait to see what else life brings.

I am always looking out for new experiences and inspiration as I hope to eventually work in a creative industry (not necessarily just fashion) for a living. Travelling, seeing, and experiencing new cultures is a step towards discovering myself and achieving my goals.

I'm open-minded and easy going. I love to socialise and meet new people from all sorts of different backgrounds. I however also enjoy my own alone time which I use to chill out. I love my friends and I hope to meet more! With the little travelling I have done I can see how the different experiences are enriching my life and teaching me a lot about the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that it is important to not be judgemental, to be open to new experiences, to live in the moment and most importantly to never be afraid to fail.

Interests

Design (Fashion, Industrial design, Graphic design, Architecture) as well as the visual and creative arts. I enjoy going to art exhibitions and museums. Travelling, of course. I need my music wherever I go. I am always keen for a gig whether international or local. I love being surrounded by nature and being close to the water. I never turn down an opportunity for a picnic. I enjoy drawing and photography. My favourite thing to do is getting lost exploring a new place.Of course, I am always up for a drink!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving across the world to live in a different culture, The Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona (amazing!), snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, skiing in Whistler.
