Lacy is a Cincinnati native and Justin a transplant from Delaware. We met on match.com in 2009. That should be an indication that we are confident that the best of things can start online! Our common tendency for big dreams, love of books, and thirst for adventure reinforced a pairing that was fated for forever from the start. Our marriage has been sculpted by our common desire to see the world and our hope to become more compassionate human beings through the places we go and the people we meet.

We are optimistic and enthusiastic about the fortuitous potential that comes from this site. There is no better way to see a city than through the eyes of a local who is in love with it, and it is in that regard that we look forward to both truly seeing new places in travel as well as sharing our home with you.

PHILOSOPHY

For a married couple, we have considerably different ideas on religion, politics, and philosophy as it relates to most subjects. Our priority is to listen to each other and be kind to each other (and all of the new people we meet) knowing that we are better for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

No one knows a city like a native. We would love to show you around Cincinnati and all of our favorite haunts. For now, we are learning about CouchSurfing, and looking to share a little bit of our town but will be up for in-home guests this fall when Justin's deployment is over.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While new to the site and official "couch surfing" we've made happy memories crashing with friends near and far and welcoming others in. We look forward to meeting new people and understanding the world better through these encounters with fresh faces and ideas.

We are readers. Classic literature to sci-fi (which some might argue as classic) we are suckers for a good book. We are foodies and coffee snobs, board game junkies and will take on the best in Scattergories. A day is never wasted when geocaching, playing with our pup in the park, or at a local museum. Most of all we want to learn and we want each day to be new.
