I strive to live in a way in which I will one day look back fondly as an old man. I want to show kindness and love as often as I breathe.

ABOUT ME

Right now I'm a student at Grand Valley State University. I'm a film/video major and love making movies and creative projects. I just like the arts in general. Writing, music, visual creativity, the media...they all interest me.
Physically, I love playing a variety of sports. My favorite things to do outdoors include hiking, longboarding, playing tennis, and climbing trees. I am also really interested in parkour (free running). I love making new friends and strive to be kind to everyone I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I just love so many. I like most stuff by Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan. By these are by no means the only directors I like. I just love this art form.
Music: Right now Thrice and Rise Against are probably my favorite bands, but I also love Lupe Fiasco, Skillet, Blink 182, Grits, and so many more.
Books: The Bible, I also love poetry, and think C.S. Lewis is a great philosophical writer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A storm on top of a cruise ship, the giant redwood trees in California, been in a frozen river, studied video production in Australia, was born and survived until now! I happily and gratefully receive the grace of God.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach lots about longboarding, communication techniques and theories, media, and video technology and would love to have discussions about such things. But, I also want to learn more. I'm interested in so many things that I love gaining insight in pretty much any field.
