About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Part of a quote from Sylvia Plath describe it best "I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life."
ABOUT ME
I work as a fundraiser for Red Cross back home in Norway. I´m on the side trying to start my own nootropic company as well. Also I work as Volunteer manager at EmmaSofia (an organization working for human rights and health in regards to psychedelics and MDMA).
PHILOSOPHY
Well, that would be something of a mix of hedonism and utilitarianism(think Pete Singer).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed a couple times when I was traveling in Netherlands some years ago. I haven't had the opportunity to host anyone, but I have meet and show some people around in my hometown, Oslo.
I´m here because this is THE best way to meet new and exciting people when travelling!
Interests
I do really love knowledge. Every aspect of the world is so fascinating; from how humans interact with each other, to how atom works, and even if my hand is 99% nothing, it still can't get through the door, to cooking or philosophy. As Richard Feynman said "Its not just beauty at this level, this dimensions." I love reading, spending time with friends. Havent much chance yet, but adventure and adrenaline kicks really draws me. Skydiving, climbing, surfing, living with indigenous tribes, etc. is stuff I wanna do. I also work against starting my own company, so I can get more freedom to travel the world!
Music, Movies, and Books
The best overview of my music taste: http://www.last.fm/user/Aqouspwends
But keyword would be all from Mozart to Tool; Bon Iver and Pendulum and so on.
I love reading, and most of it are fantasy/scifiction like The Wheel of Time, The Malazan Book of The Fallen, Brave New World. But also books about philosophy, astrophysics, psychology and entrepreneurship.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in India, at a little village just outside Jaiselmer. Very poor village. But the life-energy of the kids, how there faces light up when I brought a big pack of candy too them.
Another was the whole experience of visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar. I visited the temple at different times of day (night), and how that change the experience. The kids, the other travelers etc. It was so amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
So much and so little. In all from lifehacks to maybe some philosophy or psychology.
