About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do my little part to make the world a better place.

ABOUT ME

I'm an inventor, designer, artist, and entrepreneur. I'm an optimist who always sees the best in people and try my best to give back to the community. I've moved around a lot living in 8 states and 25 cities. I'm set on Colorado as the right state and have a mountain cabin with room for surfers. I'm working on a new creative CS project here as long as the snow allows :)

PHILOSOPHY

Do unto others...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS after a chance discovery of the project. I camped next to the Couch Surfing theme camp at Burning Man and met some amazing members from around the world. When I have a couch it's always available and I like to partiticpate in the group activities around Denver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted many surfers and crashed many a couch of CSers, friends and family in several states over the years crossing the country. I took up a spare couch at a hostel that was filled up on New Years eve in Queenstown, NZ. Even though all the rooms were filled they didn't kick me on the street which I thought was pretty generous and showed the warmth of the locals.

Interests

I'm a big fan of the Colorado outdoors. I'll take boarding, hiking, biking or rock climbing any day. I love singing and playing some acoustic guitar by the campfire or just at karaoke on Wed. night. I've also been folding origami forever and use it in independent pieces and jewelry making.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I took a 2 week trip through the Peruvian Amazon just after the rainy season experiencing such an amazing diversity and abundance of life was breathtaking. From seeing poison arrow frogs to giant Apok trees with crazy buttressing roots making them look like 180' rockets, there's no end to new discoveries. I thought one of the coolest things was going on night hikes in the rain forest because when you turn off the lights there are tons of things glowing in the dark all around!! Kinda crazy/creepy/cool all at once.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Croatia, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico
