I was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Canada with my family when I was 7 years old. Vancouver has been home for the most part since then, but I've also worked in Germany at a laser research centre as an engineer for several months and lived in Lund, Sweden for 2 years while completing my masters' in sustainability science. I met my wife while studying in Sweden (she's from Mexico) and we have been living in Vancouver for the past few years with our dog, Obi.

I'd like to think that I'm open minded and easy going. I enjoy having discussions with people from totally different backgrounds and experiences, since I usually end up thinking about things in a way that I hadn't done before.

My Philosophy: Awareness, Awareness, Awareness (easier said than done at times)

I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing experiences with them.......that's why I joined CS, it's such an innovative way of creating a strong bond between people from all over the globe.

I´ve couchsurfed several times in Europe and have hosted a few times in Vancouver.
