Overview
About Me
I am a student traveling around Japan with my best friend. Charley and I are practicing artists; I am a budding filmmaker and writer, and Charley is an illustrator. We both have a deep interest in both music and art.
We also love to socialize and meet new people!
We are both very interested in Japanese culture, and it has been a long term dream to travel their together and we are finally doing it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We were recommended couch surfing by many friends, as a great way to submerge yourself in a country culture and meet local people!
We wanted to get a more authentic view of Japan, rather then simply staying in hotels and doing touristy things.
Japanese culture is very different to that of the West, and we want to understand it and experience that difference as much as possible.
