I'm a laid back,positive and outgoing person.I'm a Midwestern girl,born and raised in Kansas City,MO and I'm part Mexican and love my Hispanic culture and speak Spanish fluently. I am currently a Sexual Assault Awareness Educator at my city’s local rape crisis center and provide education to schools and the community about various topics,such as consent and healthy relationships.I also work with victims of sexual abuse and assault and make sure they are receiving help and the right resources.I love my career,but it does keep me busy and that’s why I like to travel whenever I have the chance!
I love to explore new cities,make new friends and enjoy live music and art shows.I also enjoy going to beer/wine tastings and trying out food from different cultures . I am very social and like to go out on weekends to dance and wind down.I am very creative and dab in a little bit of all artistic outlets.My favorite hobby is jewelry making and revamping thrift store clothing and tie dying!
I'm very in-tune with nature,and love spending time outdoors whenever I have the chance.I have been a camp counselor for many years and enjoy all types of outdoor recreation activities, from hiking to archery and kayaking and much more! I am a big animal lover and have 2 dogs of my own and love spending as much time with them too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard awesome experiences from friends and since I love to travel a lot, I thought I would give it a try. I travel every few months to new parts of the U.S and my heart is in the Pacific Northwest.I lived in Seattle Washington for a summer on a beautiful camp and ideally plan to move there after school and would love to host other wanderlust souls!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on a beautiful island in Seattle Washington on the Puget sound working at a summer camp with kids of different backgrounds and disabilities.I had co workers from different counties and states and built good long lasting friendships with them and know I'll have a place to stay when I decide to travel and visit their counties.
