ABOUT ME
Mmmm.. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina with all that it implies: I'm half japanese, half spanish, but I have a southamerican soul and a "free spirit" to complete the cliché. No, not really, not really "free" but I keep working on that.
I am kind of an open minded person, but I am as opinionated as I am Argentinian! (those two things and not incompatible).. in any case, give me a point and I will always listen to you, cause I think there is always something to learn from everybody. I studied philosophy in uni and it's still a big part of me, as much as travelling and exchanging experiences with people is the other significant part.
I believe that there is a great reward every time we break our own limits and we learn from it. It takes us to places we wouldn't have imagined, and to people we thought were floating in a distant part of the atmosphere... when you travel, everything and anything is possible, it could be positive or if it's terrible, it will definitely be the best anecdote ever when its over!
PHILOSOPHY
Go away from home, look for everything that is appealing to you, that scares you, that attracts you, learn, grow, and come back home to find what has always been there and you couldn't see
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted Joachim in Buenos Aires, travelled with him in Malaysia for some time. Same with other interesting backpackers I met during that trip.
I was also hosted by Judita in Bratislava, and went for a coffee and coffee reading in Istanbul with Zeki.
If you are around Dubai and I am also, I ll take you around my favourite places!
Interests
Culture, backpacking, isolated countries, art, creative process, languages and their strong relationship with the culture where they are created and spoken, small winding streets, open markets, spice smells, turkish coffee, several varieties of tea, different food, old people's faces, old book stores, bright coloured silk, weird musical instruments, medieval philosophy, big earings, interesting gazes, deep voices, good conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books
Herman Hesse "Steppen wolf", Tolkien books..., Mythology books, Philosophy books (sometimes),Miyazaki films, Independent films, and "Amelie" and "Pride and Prejudice" are basically my eat-chocolate-and-feel-cosy-at-home therapy rituals. I watch them every time I feel I need a refill in the optimistic side of me. Then I believe in true love again
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Crossing from Thailand to Cambodia, sharing a taxi and finally watching the sunrise in Ankor Wat.
In Atata, I remember grabbing some shells from the beach and keeping them in an ashtray.. and some minutes later they started to move around because each of them had a living mollusk inside.
Teach, Learn, Share
if you go around with an open mind, some common sense, a true (or as true as it comes out) smile and you keep your third eye wide open... than only amazing experiences and people will come to you
