Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Planning for a better urban future and helping others learn about the world through international education initiatives.
ABOUT ME
I'm 35, have travelled quite a bit, maybe 30 different countries?? I just accepted a new job at UT-Austin in the International Student Services office and am thrilled to learn about my new town!
I like meeting new people but I can be a bit shy sometimes. I'm really into outdoor activities (hiking, running, all kinds of sports). Recently I have worked as a Fulbright Public Policy Fellow with the Thai Ministry of Transport and as a global gap year program leader with Thinking Beyond Borders guiding young adults through Ecuador, Peru, Thailand, Cambodia, India, and South Africa.

PHILOSOPHY
Try to learn from others, be modest and respectful, and appreciate humanity and all it has to offer us.

Teach, Learn, Share
Check out my current musings at my blog: http://kwamsuk.wordpress.com/
I can teach you how to throw a flying disc and maybe even play a game of ultimate frisbee if you are so inclined. I love playing and listening to music. I love speaking Thai and would be happy to teach you a few words!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my stories of intercultural exchange along with the many couch surfing experiences from years past. Oh, and I'm also a decent cook and would love to make something for you!
