Am working in China as a teacher and have a Chinese wife. Graduated from university with a degree in geology and geophysics. Have previously lived in Amsterdam for a working holiday and Sweden for a student exchange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favourite parts of travelling is the people that you meet. And Couchsurfing is an excellent way to meet very interesting people. Plus nobody knows a place better than the locals. I find the best way to really experience a new culture and not just be another tourist is to actually spend some time with the locals. Which can sometimes be very tricky to accomplish when you're staying in hotels or hostels.
