ABOUT ME

I am an easy-going, thoughtful small-town guy doing his traveling thing. My girlfriend, Jenna, and I are trying to see as much of the world as possible. We're trying to WWOOF, camp, back-pack, hike, and couch-surf our way through all the places we've always wanted to see. I'm vegan and like making food. I love biking, but unfortunately, I couldn't take it with me on my travels. I like simple things; not much of a partier, but if you are, that's cool too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, Jenna and I have only traveled using CouchSurfing, but we will definitely be hosts when we're back in the States.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love CouchSurfing. I've only been using it for a few months, but it's already introduced Jenna and me to people who we can count as friends. It's also landed us in weird and wonderful situations of culture shock. I really believe in the things that CouchSurfing represents and am glad to have participated in the project.

Jenna, my traveling partner, is an excellent writer and editor. I'm competent in these areas. I'm a good barista, and enjoy cooking vegan food. We are good cooks. I will soon be working on some organic farms, so I should have some sustainable gardening/agriculture skills. I'm pretty good at fixing and building bikes, especially older, sort of low-tech bikes. I made a tall-bike, even.

Looking to learn more about carpentry and building, mechanics, and furthering my food skills. Actually, looking to absorb just about anything there is to learn.
