I am Arancha, 26 y-o! You can call me Acha. I live in small city, 40 mins drive from Jakarta, Indonesia-- in BSD City, Tangerang Selatan, close to the office where I work located. I am sort of a lone wolf, but longing for some crowds and socializing once in awhile. Prefer a nice beer and late night intellectually stimulating conversation in a cafe/bar than a party scene in a club. Newbie in couch surfing community, but here for learning and trying out what's there beyond my cubicle (lol!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I began my interest in travel lately, since I just realized there are a lot of things I haven't seen yet in my life. Most of my weekends were spent usually in solitude, til I have no idea what else to be done! Then I am thinking of something revolutionary (at least for me).. Go hosting! Couchsurfin!

I have pretty nice small studio apartment (with up to 2 people to crash in), located in a nice and high end suburban near capital city, a simple hatchback car for easier transportation, and wouldn't mind to share it with nice people around the world. Please mention "Salmon Wellington"in your request so I know you really read my profile, and give me some time to read through your profile.

Well, I also want to try to couchsurf in my next trip to Europe (September 2019). The list goes to Italy, Switzerland and French!

Music.. Super diverse kind of taste. I basically listening to everything good!
I cried during one of the magical Coldplay's concert night in Japan, dance crazily in the rain (MUD PARTY!!) in David Guetta's set DWP, religiously silenced listening to "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd and set it as the official anthem of my life, singalong happily to Honne's angelic tune in We The Fest, fangirl-ing over Black Pink and NIKI.. til down to Daniel Caesar as my go to chillax playlist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a big sucker of what nature has to offer, despite of my not-so-strong physical trait!

My first mount to hike was Papandayan Mt, and it took me one batalyon truck ride from Capital, a pair of gym shoes and 4 red bulls to get up there. Got my first hypotermia before the dawn and my friends save me that night by plethora of hugs. I survived.
I climbed Mt. Semeru through my very first night tracking (with headlamps, the thoughts of Panthera Pardus and scary noises), arrived in the base camp at 1 AM , and cried to see how marvelous the stars shined through on the top (no words to describe!).
I once stayed on remote island called Sanghyang for the weekend and sleep beneath the sands.
I took bath in the Tiu Kelep waterfall in the leg of Mt. Rinjani.
I snorkle in yearly occassion. To date has ticked Karimun Jawa, Sepa, Gili and more to come.
I got my first snow experience in Mount Tate (Tateyama) in Japan.
I climbed the alp track in Switzerland to reach the best lake I have ever seen in my whole life; Bachalpsee and did bungee jump from gondola beneath lake in Stockhorn!
