About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoying life

ABOUT ME

Hi everybody!!
What to say about myself?? mmm... I'm a musician, I have been studying music since I was nine. I was studying history in the university but in the end I had to choose between history and music and I opted for this last one. After finishing my degree in music in Spain I decided to go to Finland to do a postgraduate in accordion (my main instrument) so I ended up there for three years... and I could make it!! despite the freezing temperatures :). A great experience and great country I will never forget!
To be a musician has allowed me first, to know people from other countries and cultures and then, to travel quite much.
Later on I have discovered the pleasure of travelling just for fun (the accordion is a very nice but also very heavy instrument :) ) and to know new places, new people and new cultures.

Now I'm living in Spain again, playing in a classical duo I have with a clarinet player and trying to teach a little bit.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to enjoy what life gives me, though sometimes can be hard, but I think I'm a quite positive person.
Me considero una persona muy abierta (it's quite hard for me to say this in English...

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't like bestsellers so much, I prefer classical literature. In this last months I have been reading quite many writers from Spain and Latin America: Laura Restrepo, García Márquez, Vargas Llosa, Bolaño, García Lorca, Carpentier, Gallegos, Laforet.
I think I like every kind of music (except techno and heavy metal), specially classical and latin music. Chucho Valdés is one of my best musicians.
Movies: I don't like science fiction movies, terror movies either. Apart from that, I think I can watch whatever.
