About Me

Second year law student in the University of Manchester, UK. Grew up in Malaysia and have travelled to most places in Asia. I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to meet new people, expand my circle of friends and share experiences. I’m quite new to couchsurfing so I’m still trying to figure out how this works but nevertheless i think its a great way to interact with locals who live within an area instead of booking a hotel and staring at the TV at night.

I’ve been hosting exchange students in Malaysia under the AFS student exchange program with my family for about 8 years. I have been on the program myself and lived in Japan for about 2 months with an amazing host family. Although I’m new to CS I’ve always been exposed to meeting and living with individuals all around the globe and have hosted about 12 students with my family so far. It’s an experience that allows you to expand your horizons and i hope to do the same with CS.
