About Me
I'm an Iranian PhD student in Energy & Environment (researching on Bioenergy). Lived in Italy-Rome from 2012, then recently moved to Vienna to work in the lab of TU Wien. I love travelling (sun&sea, historical places), food (trying to become vegan but not achieved that yet!), wine, science (a big fan of Lawrence Kraus, Richard Dawkins and Stephen Hawkins) , philosophy (Daniel Danette is my biggest mentor :), science fiction books and movies, ...
Enjoy meeting people from all around the world, getting to know different cultures and of course their cuisine !
So far been to US, some countries in the Middle East, never been in far east and Africa, traveled through Europe and I wish some day to visit all the 195 countries :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't see a reason why not being on Couch-surfing! It is a great way to meet and hang out with new people and share the experience of living in a place as a local does, or have a pleasure to make someone else's vacation more pleasant.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: it may seem a bad pair but I enjoy Jazz and Pop
Movies: again another strange pair of choices: science fiction, fiction, and comedy (a big fan of Game of Thrones, Rick&Morty, Star Wars, Friends, Matrix trilogy, Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives,...) and the only romance movie I ever loved is "Gone with the wind"
Books: Game of Thrones of course! , then "Selfish gene", "a universe from nothing", "Darwin's dangerous idea", "Freedom evolves", "illusion of god",...
