About Me

I'm an Architect, & university lecturer; interested in music and photography, and backpacking for photography of course. You might like to take a look at my experiences in my Instagram (id: arashgtehrani) or simply google my name.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to learn about other cultures, learn new languages, meet with tourists, have a chat about Art, Architecture, Culture, Music, and also making new friends from all over the world.

My only purpose to ask for your couch is to become friend with you, learn your culture, a little chat, hang out for photography, street walking, a cup of coffee together and even busking if you're a busker :) so if there is no chance of common interest i'd prefer a hotel.

My only purpose to host you is to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play Persian Classic (traditional) Music, and my instruments are Taar, & SeTaar.
But I’m strongly a Rock fan and a Metal-head. My taste of music consists of Classic Rock, Progressive Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy & Thrash Metal, though I’m open to almost too many musical genres from country, blues, Jazz, Electronic rock to classic music, and also love any experimental & fusion acts. So if you're a one only option listener, I could also manage to listen to your music.

I love Cinema, no need to mention one specific stuff; just maybe i should say that i could talk about Inception & Interstellar for hours :)))

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an Architect, a freelancer, so i might have to complete my project full time, 24 hours a day, for 2 weeks; and i might be all free for another two weeks! So i may not be available every day.
But when i could host you, i could offer my cozy design studio, which is available 24 hours, with maybe some nice fellows which are also open to new people, we could listen to great music, Jam & play some fusion music, talk about art, architecture and culture. My couch is not comfortable enough for a sleep, but i could offer Mattress for maximum two guests.

I also love to come visiting Tehran streets and museums with you if you just want to meet up (not to stay with me) in my free days, or i could suggest ideas for visiting in Tehran.
