ABOUT ME

im a reasonably ordinary kiwi bloke, i bieleve in
working hard, playing hard etc. when i have time off i make it my business to have as much fun as possible. you never know if a comet(or somthing else) could drop out of the sky and end it all!
i love art and all forms of music, i paint, draw, carve have been in bands of various descriptions. i also enjoy exercise and like running, going to the gym etc.

PHILOSOPHY

i bieleve we are all here for a reason, and that we should all make every effort to live in peace with one and other. you only live once and should always try to do the right thing. i feel that life is precious, and it can be hard sometimes, in which case you have to discipline yourself to get through the tough times and when you can weather the storm you can see the true beauty all around you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

ive had a few couch surfers stay here so far, want to get people to the region who are keen to find out about local history/culture, those who are keen i can share my knowledge of the local craft(particulary jade/pounamu) and cool regions for tramping etc.

any and all art, i personally create fantasy style art, celtic and maori design, have designed a few tattoos, and drawn a couple of album covers for local bands. i like all music, heavy metal through to classical or grunge. i have to many favorite bands to list here!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

spent time in mulu national park in borneo, visited worlds biggest cave and saw 3 million bats coming out of it at night!

-im not the best cook in the world, but im keen to share my knowledge of arts and crafts with any and all who would be keen. i know a bit about local history and maori myths/history etc. also like having exercise partners for gym/ jogging
