ABOUT ME

Having risen from the dusty ashes of my dearly depraved desert, Iran, Ahwaz life spat me out in the decadence.

Long story short (or not so short) I have a hell of a lot of energy and passion for all that I do. But my trajectory is constantly shifting and it can be difficult to keep up. I'm also the world's biggest introvert and need a lot of time to myself. This can be confusing, because I'm also a social butterfly, and try to strike up conversations with most people when I'm out and about. Loving, affectionate, and caring, I believe in and value the fostering of positive and loving human relationships anchored by mutual respect and consent; I DON'T believe in unrealistic expectations, or any expectations, for that matter. Not a huge planner, I prefer to feel things out and go with the flow. It helps being intuitive; I'm pretty good at taking hints and while I'm chatty, I'm not obnoxious and I know how to listen. I can be ranty and if I'm comfortable with you, slightly argumentative, but I'm mostly agreeable and fascinated by the rainbow of perspectives that new people have to offer me. Tell me all about your worldview and while I might think inside my head that you are so terribly wrong, I'll probably find you intriguing and just might walk away with a fresher perspective of my own. Basically, I would LOVE to meet people, men and women both, as independent, creative, open, and daring as I am.

In the meantime, I'm biding my time, scrounging for money and scribbling in last-minute essays as I plan out my trip to Paris and consider where I might decide to plant myself after that. I'm sort of a restless spirit, and tend to, just as I'm figuring things out in one city, rip myself out of it for the sake of engulfing myself in something new.

In waking life (aka non-travel mode) I tend to come off as being hard to get to know and have been told that I'm off-putting to some of my peers (maybe it's the brutal honesty, or my distaste for small talk, or perhaps the fact that I couldn't fake it if it killed me) but once you're my friend, I'm here for life-- loyal, loving, and supportive to the bone, I truly see people for who they are and there isn't a judgmental fiber in my body, though again, I've been told I can come off as cold and/or standoffish (it's the introvert, I swear.)

Interests

Music, East-Europe Piano Literature.
Classic Music: Chopin (actually I not only listening to his music but studying his works for a long time :-), Rachmaninov, Beethoven and Bach, and some more contemporary stuffs like Arvo Part or even Schnittke.
More popular music: Death, Cannibal Corpse, Metallica, Disturbed, In Flames, Meshuggah, Dark Tranquility, Omium Gatherium.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can swim just like a fish, I traveled all the way between two Islands by swimming about 4 kilometers ;-)
