About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Back in the States for a little while, soaking up the splendid southwest!

ABOUT ME

I am a long-term traveler through Asia, and a freelance writer. I like to read, explore, and study the history and culture of new places I go to. I also love to eat street food and find the more strange, odd and curious elements of a place. I am laid-back, easygoing, and enjoy conversation about pretty much anything. I am also the author of a novel about travelling in SE Asia called Mystic Fool. After having spent a little over ten years in Asia, I am back in the States for a little while, before heading to Mexico. (Also, you can find many of my travel articles here: itsalovelyplanet.blogspot.com)

PHILOSOPHY

Every person is a star, with their own orbit and trajectory. Our task in life is to find out what it is we are really genius at and passionate about, and do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite thing to do in life is to travel and to meet people from other places and see where they live with them. I have been travelling since I was 18, and have spent the majority of my adult life abroad. I am down to eat the food you love and hear the stories about your city and your life.
