ABOUT ME

Hi, I am a single parent and running my own business, so very very busy. I also get involved in what is happening at my kids school.

I love to watch the sunset with friends over a bottle of wine and chillaxing Or have a bbq with the family and perhaps some friends.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philisophy in life is to be kind to people. Kindness is contagious and one act of kindness can have lots of ripples.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host travellers to Darwin, give them somewhere safe to stay and give them information on things to do in Darwin. It's always good to meet new people and make new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a few times now and it is fun. Great meeting new people and hearing about the way of life in other countries, sampling some of the cooking.

Music - Bryan Adams, Tina Turner, Mamma Mia, 80s stuff really.

Fave movie of all time - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, followed closely by Paint Your Wagon.

Books - fave author at the moment is Jodi Picoult, also reading a book on being grateful for what you have.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going over the edge in Melbourne - a glass box hundreds of metres in the sky - scary and awesome at the same time.

Regularly watching Darwin sunsets is amazing too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I can teach, but I would like to learn about other cultures. I have not done much travelling myself.
