ABOUT ME

I'm a quiet person but I like exploring new places and meet people from all around the world. Rather than parties and night life I prefer to have a nice walk through an historical town center or drink a coffee and have a relaxing chat. I'm very curious about other countries and how it is living there.
When I travel I like to see not only the main tourist attractions but also minor corners and possible speak with people that live there. Ah... I like photography and take pictures of everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It's not possible for me to host someone but if you are in Siracusa and surroundings you can contact me to have a walk, drink a coffee or to have informations about monuments, nature and what to see in this area. Due to work I have a lot of free time during the winter months but it is a bit difficult for me in spring and summer where it is easier to mee me after dinner.

I lived in Vienna some months and partecipated to some CS events.

Interessen

I've a lot of interests: travelling and explore new places (not only the most famous but also unknown corners), photography (I like everything about photography. I always go around with my camera. If you like photography too we'll have much to talk about), archaeology (I studied severly years archaeology. I like prehistoric, greek and roman archaeology and trekking around to find places that only few peole know), astronomy (my first passion: looking the sky in a dark night), reading, computers, meet people from all around the world

Favorite films: Dead poets society (Peter Weir)
Favorite music: italian singers, some classic, some rock... definitively every day and every place has a different music that is ideal for it
Favorite books: Il nome della rosa (Umberto Eco), Christian Jacq and so on...

I can speak with you italian or german if you want to learn it. You can speak to me in english so I can better my level and I'd like to learn the basics of French. I've have some knowledge in computers, photography, astronomy, archaeology... glad to share it if you're interested. I'm very curious to learn new things... give me some idea :)
