About Me

CURRENT MISSION

it is such a small life and such a small place called earth. lets be friends.

ABOUT ME

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

in my travels thru europe i met and shared time and space with some amazing people. just connecting and feeling i had known them generations! Couch Surfing is a wonderful concept though i have just joined in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

while travelling in north Sweden, i met a professor in a train going to Narvik (Norway). We got talking and he offered me a couch to explore his city. i was there for 2 days and saw it thru the eyes of a local. similar experiences unfolded in Tiel (Holland), Barcelona (Spain), Rome, Paris and Alberta (Canada), this world is amazing. strangers turn into long lasting friends. we may not meet them again but they live on in our memories for a lifetime.

Interests

exploring thoughts and lives. cycling. travelling. waiting to explore as much of the world as i can.

  • traveling
  • walking tours
  • animals and nature
  • cycling tours

Music, Movies, and Books

anything that moves me. no favourites. this keeps the list open. movies - i like them to be entertaining. dark movies are draining. music - anything mellow. metallic sounds are not for me. i like music to stir my soul into beauty and peace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

getting off the subway in Paris, i chucked my ticket in the wastebin - just inside the exit. on exiting i was surrounded by three men, two women and 3 menacing dogs - the humans in black uniform and the dogs with lovely shining black fur. the humans had automatic guns aimed at me and were asking for my ticket. i could pay a $100 fine or spend a day in jail. it was bizzare. i paid the $100 fine, but i still think 'was it a hoax?' none of the people around came to my assistance. and i didn't (still don't) know french.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nomadic by instinct i am spontaneously getting better at cooking as i get more grounded into life :)
