About Me

I am 21, and currently doing different things, not one fixed career or job, mixing up with activism. I am questioning things constantly and hope this makes me understand more even if takes some work. I don't want to write too much here, it's a little bit of a giveaway, and I suppose takes away a little about meeting someone new?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel purposes and to meet people that have the ability to meet 'strangers' and not be thinking negatively about this! See the good side of people! Learn things etc etc. Socialise.

Interests

I like animals and sports, being active. I am interested in human behavior culture and how the world goes on by. History. Photography can be fun too, I mean lots interests me! Even the most mundane things to sometimes...like different types of tape! There are so many to be discovered...

A while since I wrote that^ I am not so drawn to tapes.

Music, Movies, and Books

All sorts of music. Also a fair bit of ambient music, Brian Eno and the likes. London Grammar...! The Weeknd, Mattafix, Biga Ranx, Caribou, Thomas Newman, Mica Levi, etc etc

I love films that focus on a part of history, preferably modern/20th century. Anything really that is well made and has a good story to tell or message to give. Something that moves me deeply. Nowhere in Africa is really good, one to watch!

As for books, history, factual, spiritual. Nat Geo. Again, something that cuts to the core of me, hits me hard, makes me think, empathise and want to get up and do summin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saved the life of a man who'd drowned at the bottom of a river.

Teach, Learn, Share

There are alwayss things to teach, learn and share.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, perhaps some food. Who knows? Hopefully a chuckle or five...stories, shared pain, bananas, (most likely I'll have a few on me) maybe not a lot, I could be all anxious if there are large groups of people, so maybe some quietness...? Chocolate truffles! (Fridge needed)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Canada, Cyprus, France, Greece, Ireland, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, United States, Zambia

Countries I’ve Lived In
