About Me
Hey guys.
Please read my profile.
We do not stay in Cape Town.
We stay in a little town called Ceres.
Ceres is about 130 kilometers north of Cape Town.
We very seldom get request from surfers...
That's why we put Cape Town as hometown.
Sorry for any inconvenience!!! Karin and I have been married for 22 years now.
We have done a bit of travelling in the past (UK).
Presently just touring our own country and most countries around South Africa.
We would like to welcome travellers from all over the world to join us in our home.
Come tell us your stories and show us your pictures and tell us how you see life ....
Or just come and cook us your favourite food and just chill with us.
If you read this you are welcome to request to stay...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Making new friends; See and hear new things and just enjoying good old conversations. Right now we not in a position to travel, so if we can't travel the world... its best to bring the world upon our doorstep! And maybe one day we would be lucky enough to travel the world too!
Interests
We love to go and sight seeing ; Chatting about the world and it's people and what they do; I'm a sports fan, just love cricket, golf, tennis, road running. We would love for you to join us for fun filled evenings and laughter chatting bout life experiences.
Music, Movies, and Books
The best book that we read and still read is the Bible.
Any good songs. 70's and 80's where big.
ABBA!!! Chris de Burgh and Elton John
Watch comedy, romance, action.
Not a horror fan....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Did the zipline at Oribi Gorge. 4,5km of a adrenaline rush! Flew a plane. Slept in the Namib dessert with only one blanket....
Teach, Learn, Share
We would love to learn stuff from you, how your country do things and we would love to see your pictures, where you stay (home town and house if you do have pics of those), your country and where you traveled. So please share that with us!
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all... We would like to welcome you into our little paradise... so we will appreciate it if you can arrange your stay with us at least a week prior to arriving. We understand that travel plans changes... No problem just inform us ( I always give my phone number ones you contacted me) we are flexible. We will make life as comfy as possible and see to it that you have a comfortable bed to sleep in. You will have your own private room, with fresh linen and towels. We would really prefer that you stay at least 2 nights to get to know you some what. (One nighters feel like a hit n run situation) But we do understand there is a lot that travelers want to see and do in a short period of time.
