From October 2014 I will be walking/hitching up Europe for Book Aid International.

ABOUT ME

Surf's up!

From October 2014 I will be walking/hitching from Tarifa in Spain, the southernmost point of Western Europe, to Nordkapp in Norway, the northernmost point. I will be using the European long distance path network as I trudge from South to North through Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

I aim to raise money and awareness for Book Aid International. They provide books and libraries in sub-saharan Africa and Palestine in order to raise literacy levels, provide information and underpin development. I think reading and access to reading is something we take for granted in Europe and I think it's an excellent cause to support. http://www.BookAid.org

So I need all you good and graceful people to provide me with a place to rest my weary legs as I pass through your towns, and to tell me your stories and to show me your favourite places to keep me going. There's no way I can undertake this without the support of many people pulling together, and in doing so we could really create something special.

As a professional bum, I´ve spent more than my fair share on friends couches.

One day I´ll give back with some mega hosting.

Interests

I love good conversation, and wherever it may take us.
I´ve worked in kitchens my whole life and I love to cook and be cooked for. I like a beer or two.
Oh and books. Lots of books.
