About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world! Because life is too short to stay in one place!
ABOUT ME
I like to try new things and meet people from different walks of life. For me, traveling is a better alternative to a college degree, as you learn a lot from it. Born and raised in Manila, Philippines and moved to the beautiful state of California when I was 20. I speak Tagalog, Hiligaynon (Philippines dialect) and American english.
I am a very adventurous person. I remember when I was 5 years old, I got lost in a mall, when I got separated from my parents. Most kids would probably cry and "Look for Mommy". I didn't. I kept on walking and was awe-inspired at the different kinds of shops the mall had in store.
A few hours later, as soon as the mall was about to close, my mom found me at an amusement park inside the mall. She told me: "Thank God we found you, we've been looking all over for you! You could've been kidnapped!". I just told her: "Ma, look at all the fancy rides in this place!"
I was kind of like that kid in that movie Baby's Day Out. And that's where my sense of adventure started.
Looking forward for more adventures soon!
PHILOSOPHY
I like trying new things and traveling helps my cause. Meeting people from all walks of life helps me pick up different kinds of ideas. Learning about different kinds of culture from around the world is a better education than a college degree. The great outdoors is a great way to relax, have fun and take pictures of wonderful scenery.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I go to a lot of CS Meetups and have made a ton of friends within the meet ups.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done a few Couchsurfing meetups around the Orange County area and the people I met during those meetups were amazing, free spirited, intellectual and well traveled individuals. I'm looking forward to more meetups as I travel more throughout the years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving from Utah all the way to the Grand Canyon is a spectacular and scenic drive. The Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend, both in the city of Page (Arizona state), is a definite must-see. The Grand Canyon is surreal. It looks like a painted canvas when you see it right in front of your eyes.
Did a 3 week backpacking trip around Europe, hitting 5 countries. Stayed in Zurich, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam and Paris.
Packed all my stuff in one bag then moved to New York. So far, I am loving this city!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am fluent in Tagalog so I could easily teach anyone my native language. I can teach you about Filipino culture and I also know how to cook a few Filipino dishes!
I've been fluent in English as well since the age of 3, despite not growing up in the States. I went to a school that taught classes 95% in English so that got me accustomed to speaking the language. In fact, I am more comfortable reading literature and writing in English as opposed to my native language!
I would like to learn how to speak other languages as well. Languages of interest are French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese. And pretty much any other language that I can get a hold of!
