Well, I'm a happy-go-lucky guy from India, currently pursuing a PhD in Cellular & Molecular Biology at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

I'm an Army kid, so I've moved around all my life, but I belong to New Delhi, India. I'm very open minded and always happy to meet new people.

I'm currently in between moving to the US from India and have taken a short break in Europe, hence I can't host at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people. I always like meeting local people and traveling with them since they know the place better than anyone else.

I heard about CS fairly recently and think it's a brilliant idea for like-minded people to connect. I sincerely believe that you can only grow if you meet new people. It can really help you get some perspective and broaden your horizons!

Interests

I'm interested in a lot of things. First and foremost, traveling!

I also enjoy trying out different cuisines and going off the beaten path.

I'm very fond of writing. I find it very cathartic. I also enjoy art, cinema and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste is music usually veers towards classical or singers with strong vocals. I'm always open to listening to new genres.

I've a huge collection of movies, television shows and books. It is impossible for me to list just a few as my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently started my own freelance writing business. This is just something I do for fun and have really enjoyed the sense of achievement it gives me.

In terms of travel, well -

All of India!
Thailand by myself - this was a great learning experience for me. It helped me grow a lot as a person.
