CURRENT MISSION

I am excited to be in a new part of the world - I am living and working in Kuala Lumpur now, after 10 years in Miami, FLA - I'm looking to travel and meet new people in SE Asia!

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurer, I love to partake in new experiences, and I strive to bring happiness to those around me. I love travelling and am disappointed that I haven't been able to do very much of it in the last several years. I find the typical USA company 2 or 3 week vacation days over the course of the year to be woefully inadequate.

I have been to Europe several times, lived in Rome for 3 months, Tokyo for 1 month, and I was able to spend half of a school year living in Newcastle, UK with my father when I was in grade school. I think these experiences help shape me and give me a broader view and perspective of the world. I am very excited to continue my travels further!

I have just signed up for CS and am excited to meet new people around the USA and world. I have had several friends who have had great experiences travelling the world through this community and I am looking forward to doing so as well!

Interests

Interests - well of course as an architect, I love travelling and checking out architecture and great urban spaces! I am also a music addict - I always have a soundtrack backing my life, whether in good or bad times, mellow or hyper, I always live my life to a musical tune! I like to be outside, I enjoy sports, am just getting back into tennis now, and I enjoy swimming - living here in Miami Beach currently, this is something I can take advantage of year round!

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately, I have rediscovered reading - I am enjoying English mysteries. I like all types of movies, depending on what mood I'm in - well, I don't do horror movies, but most other genres I'm cool with. That "Hangover" movie was hilarious!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Of all the places I've traveled, I am still most amazed by Cinqueterre in Italy. These 5 towns perched high up on the mountains overlooking the Mediterranean were just breathtaking!

Teach, Learn, Share

As an architect and urban planner, I have great ideas for transforming spaces. I would be happy to provide design ideas for the residence of whoever's couch I might be staying on!
