About Me
2016, my wife and I decided to resign in order to explore another life, looking around the world by bicycle. We plan to start out from the residence, Chengdu, then go to Southeast Asia, Oceania, North America, South America, at last we will travel across Eurasia back to home. For more traditionally minded Chinese parents who were most born earlier 1960, it's hard to agree on this action, more important, however, is that we always respect their opinion. Of course, fortunately our parents have an open mind. Why do I have this idea? I like bicycle tours during my youth, and always dreamed about going around the world by my bicycle, but as time goes by, I almost forgot it. Until I worked in sixth year, I was unnerved by how boring things could be, how tired I was of my work. So why not give myself another chance to change, to complete my unfinished dream. I always think most great things may not be as wonderful as it looks. In order to fulfill this dream I have to give up something valuable-be reunited with my loved ones, career, etc. However I still keep going, because, on my way I'm looking forward to a glorious sight, nice and interesting people, or maybe you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Generally speaking, when you visit a new country, it’s difficult to have in-depth conversations with the locals. However, this platform has provided me with a rare opportunity to connect with people from different countries and cultural backgrounds.
