Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a family in Seville, Spain that I found through this site during Semana Santa, a week of religious processions leading up to Easter. Hundreds of devout locals dress up like the Ku Klux Klan (although I was assured that there is NO connection between the two traditions). The family was extremely generous.

I have yet to host through couchsurfing, although have frequently shared my home with wandering folk encountered on Greyhounds (really!), through friends, etc.
