My name is Arda and I am a Turkish student living in Turin, Italy with my girlfriend. I was born and raised in Istanbul and currently I'm studying VCD at Politecnico di Torino.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but I am a student and I have very little money, so I'm trying to find out new and cheaper ways of traveling and meeting people. I see Europe as a place where everyone can travel and have fun if they plan their journey wisely. I'm really interested in seeing new cities and meeting new people from different backgrounds, eating good food and learning along the way.

I really like skateboarding and I really like documenting it. I'm generally very interested in shooting photos and videos(and editing them). I'm very enthusiastic about music.

I listen to many kinds of music but my go-tos are east coast hip hop, jazz and hard rock.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook and teach some simple and some more complicated Turkish meals. I also can help practice my hosts and guests talking Turkish, English or Italian if they are interested. I am by no means an expert but I also know my way around cameras.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Because of the heavy schedule of my school I can't always promise to show my guests around the city, but If I have time, why not? I know some good pubs and pizzerias around my house so we can maybe go to some of those places. Other than that, if you are into eating at home, we cook almost every night and would love to cook for you.
