The smell of a campfire, dog fur on my clothes, muddy boots, laughing, making funny faces, picking up garbage, creating art from bottles and rusty chunks of metal, beach combing, singing made up songs to my dogs, being one with coffee and a book, gardening, camping, smelling cedar trees and ocean breezes, dog nose prints on my windshield, poetry written by people I know, my little island town...love the sense of community, listening to music/dee-jaying on our public radio station, not dusting, making new friends, collecting wild edible plants and mushrooms, SALMON FISHING!. canning salmon, dehydrating plants and mushrooms.

My husband is a fisheries biologist and an avid birder. He is knowledgeable about the birds in our area and would love to share with other birders.

I am a fiction junkie. I also enjoy books that cover my interests and hobbies (gardening, mushrooms, wild plants, remote living, dogs)

Movies/TV shows: We do not have cable though we like to rent movies from Netflix.

My husband is a Rush fan. I am not.

I enjoy Singer/Songwriter, classic rock, good blues, and some Reggae. I do not like 80's music! My current favorites are Xavier Rudd, John Butler Trio, Todd Snider, and The Wood Brothers,

Queensland, Australia. Australia is a magnificent country..the people are kind and outgoing and the state of Queensland is immaculate!

Of late, an interesting thing I have done is spooned a kangaroo...this I dubbed a "Spoon-a-Roo"
