Hey I'm Arden! I moved around a bit when I was younger but I'm from a very small town so I've always had the urge to get out. Now I'm sure of that urge and I want to see the world!

I My name is Arden. I’m a 26 year old from the United States. I grew up in North Carolina but currently live in Washington, DC. I’m planning to go to graduate school in the fall so I’m hoping to take time off this summer. I want to use couchsurfing to build community, make connections, and learn new things. I love for the outdoors. Camping, hiking, jumping off water falls to swim, rock climbing, you name it and I'm there! I also love photography.

I study Global Studies! I'm super passionate about social justice so I hope to turn my urge to travel and studies into a career!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel! Part of the reason I like to travel though is to really experience new culture. I don't think that can be fully done through hotels and the super touristy things. I want to be immersed in the culture! I think couchsurfing can help with that!

Where to start?! I feel so lucky. I worked on a coffee farm in Indonesia and then went surfing in Bali and that was one of my best experiences!
