Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To pick some tunes with good folks and climb and bike.
ABOUT ME
I am a dude who likes to play banjo, vibraphone, and piano. I also like being outside, climbing, dirt bagging, rambling, cycling, being alone, hanging out with people, drinking, and reading. I grew up in a beautiful part of Arkansas in the hills and spent 3 years in Colorado studying and playing music.
After finishing graduate school, I rambled in a circle around the globe over 16 months and met amazing people and had amazing experiences. Since then I haven't resided in the same place for too long. Most recently Yosemite National Park and Leadville, CO.
I fill my time by playing music, professionally and recreationally, climbing, skiing, teaching, and hanging with the good folks of the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy every moment. don't dwell too much on the past or future, but realize that reality is now and grasp it fully. The real source of wealth is correct ideas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like the couch surfing program because it makes it more affordable for starving traveling musicians and helps to connect with people from the area to learn more about their lives.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started couch surfing with a friend with whom I was traveling. We stayed in a few places in New Zealand and Australia. It was great to get to meet people from the cities rather than only hang out with other travelers in backpacker accommodations.
