CURRENT MISSION
My husband and I love to host people who are new or never visited Humboldt County before. We love where we live so we love sharing it with others. We especially enjoy hosting foreigners!

ABOUT ME

We enjoy the outdoors, music, food (the more exotic and spicy the better-we don’t have any diet restrictions), and meeting interesting/ unique individuals. We love random weekend adventures.

We have cats. If you have allergies towards cats this is probably not the house for you. Also we don’t allow guests to stay over with their own pets.

We do like to smoke marijuana at night, but won’t pressure you to join if that’s not your interest. We will smoke outside or in our bedroom if the smoke bothers you. We do not smoke cigarettes or tobacco and if you do, please smoke it outside.

PHILOSOPHY

We joined couch surfing to meet new people and share our love of where we live and hopefully make some new friends in the process.

We really appreciate it when surfers share a skill or story with us and are willing to contribute to our house such as by cooking a meal, making a cocktail and/or bringing beer or marijuana to share. ;)

Ideally we only want to host 3 nights maximum at a time for each surf request.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I’ve surfed and hosted. But now I primarily host people.
I have met some amazing people through Couch Surfing, and my life has forever been changed for the better by all the friendships I have made through CS!

Seeing the Aurora Borealis in Alaska was pretty amazing. So was swimming in a cenote in Mexico.

My husband and I are knowledgeable on the study of mycology(mushrooms). Depending on the time of year we could take you mushroom hunting. If we are available we would love to show you the Redwoods and/the ocean. There’s so much to see and do in Humboldt County. We also like to share and make some of our favorite cocktails.
