Im a fly by night guy. I hardly ever plan in advance and like winging it. I'm a little man with a beard who loves to ride his junker motorcycle.

PHILOSOPHY

I try and do exciting things everyday, money usually gets in the way though. I love wood and woodworking and I hate to see old wood or broken furniture discarded on tree lawns and I try to save as much as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a boatload of extra space in our house, and if someone else could use that space just for a night I'd be happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of music floats my boat, but I really enjoy Modest Mouse, and Del Tha Funky Homosapien. I'm down with a lot of movies too, but I love thrillers. I'm a dorky book guy and I love any story with a dragon in it, and other fantastical books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw my mother buy a homeless man a bushel of apples instead of giving him money, and he was actually happy and very thankful.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cedar and White Oak are very resistant to water and will last a long time as outdoor furniture.
