I'm one of the original couch surfers :)

Been out of the CS for a while due to my (newer) skeptical housemate and also not having the funds or desire to travel, but hoping to get back into it as we have a spare room now.

I don't like traveling just for the sake of it or enjoyment anymore, if you can do it in a ecological way go ahead, or if you live quite an ecological life already, but otherwise people really need to start thinking about if they can find other ways to enjoy themselves that don't damage the planet so much. I am also very skeptical about the benefits tourists bring to places where they travel, especially tourists from western countries (which is most tourists I guess?) Feel free to debate me on this.

It's always good to make new friends, enjoy the company of others and skill-sharing is a really beautiful thing.

Currently in the process of moving so I cant accept guests.
