About Me
Hi. My name is Areum.
I'm a documentary filmmaker and a student.
I majored in film at Cheongju University and received an MFA from the Graduate School of Communication and Arts at Yonsei University. I have taught and made films in middle and high schools.
In 2015, I moved to France. Now I am studying feminism videos at Fine Arts School of Nord-Pas de Calais.
Based in France and South Korea, I am currently working on films and videos with an interest in how a woman can represent their political voices in patriarchal society.
