i've surfed and hosted in a few different places, all good experiences so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed in detroit till i found a place to live once, hosted some rad people here and there.

Interests

music - played in bands, tinkered in basements, screenage developments, djing to rooms empty and full

photography - on a long-term mission to catalog the strangeness of the built environment / architectural jokes / my friends when they say it's ok

i can make a mean salsa and i can fix a bike all right too. crafts, projects, missions, trips, stupid ideas

i'd have to make a list as long as the world to be satisfied, but:

on my to-immediately-read pile next to my bed: barthes, deleuze/guattari, saramago, greek myth, plato, borges, annie dillard, ray carver

music: collecting dance jams new and old (from garage rock to disco to funk to soul to techno to industrial) for djing, scavenging thrift stores for weird new-age cassettes, making my own ideal music to sleep to. but really, everything

movies: documentaries, sci-fi, esoterica. been obsessed with aki K lately
