About Me

CURRENT MISSION:

to help my fellow humans see and activate their own empowerment.

ABOUT ME:
CURRENTLY FINDING MY PATH and letting go of expectations. I am here in Wisconsin, living one day at a time, letting experiences happen and connecting with whomever I can.

My path will soon lead me to Standing Rock to join the revolution against the capitalist war machine that will stop at nothing to continue to destroy this earth and disrespect the native peoples who were all but wiped out. They are supposed to have sovereignty. Clearly, something is amiss: https://www.facebook.com/mtilsen/posts/10154420489991047

I'm enamored of humans. I do things my own way as a subtle way of activating those to think and act independently. I am so fortunate to interact with all of you as you each share a life lesson or something that warms my heart. I love to hear from all those I meet and learn their truths as well as share my own. Hiking, music fests, personal challenges, creating my own forms of mindful acts, connecting individuals and drinking the glass half full are some ways I love to live. Music is my heart and soul. I support all my artist friends in any way I can, through dancing, photography, videography and promoting their shows. I live to share the postive vibes. Us humans are all we have. Let's create love in every action!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I now know it is so much more than that and look for events other CSers and I can participate in and it has really opened my world up. It has literally opened my world up to a paradigm of connectors, creators, lovers, explorers. My life has never been the same since!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed, I've hosted, I've invite strangers over for candy -- err -- house parties! I have made so many great friends since joining a little over a year ago. CS changed my world!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I marched in the March of 1,000 Flaming Skeletons and went to my first Austin City Limits all within the first month of being on here only to follow it up with my first Fun Fun Fun Fest.

I have been to the unscathed west coast of Ireland and I love it. Not that I would necessarily recommend joining but I was able to visit many places having been in the Navy, Ireland being just one of many. I would love to go back some day, this time at my own leisure.

I fell down a cliff in Sedona and lived to show the bruises!

Teach, Learn, Share

Bring your own soap and shampoo when traveling! I found that one out the hard way. Just a toothbrush and toothpaste won't always cut it. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love doing dishes for my host and I love helping with interior design. I can also teach you to shoot photo and video with a DSLR and make an amazing Thai stir-fry!
