I'm a Montanan living in Oregon and loving all the beauty and opportunity it offers. I love exploring the adventures of nature; hiking, backpacking, camping, swimming, finding waterfalls, going to hot springs, traveling, reading, and writing while in nature.

I'm into sciences and art. I love tinkering and figuring things out for myself. I enjoy going to the theatre as well as participating in theatrical performance. I'm social and enjoy going out with friends to dance, have some cocktails and great conversations. I value finding people that are genuinely into the same things I'm into and enjoy meeting new people and learning new things from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing so I can start traveling more often, I want to meet new people, I want to gain new perspectives on life, and push myself out of my comfort zone. The plan is to feel comfortable enough using Couchsurfing so that I can eventually travel to Australia one day. That's what I'm working up to, I think it would be amazing!

Interests

I love Psychedelic music!I love going to see live shows and going to music festivals. One of my favorite festivals is DesertDaze in Joshua Tree, California. It's an art festival just as much as it is a music festival. I enjoy dancing and laughing with friends and the new people we meet out. I also love going on big camp trips with friends. There's nothing I love more than waking up in the forest with a cup of campfire coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is psych rock music old or new and from all over the world. One of my favorites is King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard. They're a psych rock band from Melbourne, Australia they are unlike anyone else. There's a lot of great psych music coming out of Australia actually, like The Babe Rainbow, Tame Impala, Pond, The Murlocs, Orb.

Then there's The Black Angels, The Warlocks, Long Hair Family Tree, The Pansies, Mac Demarco, Flower Graves, Melody Fields, The Kundalini Genie, Antoine Diligent, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Elephant Stone, Psychedeliabeaters, Melody's Echo Chamber, Kikagaku Moyo, Jacco Gardner, Allah Las, Temples, so many to list!

I also love the older stuff like The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Mamas and the Papas, Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Sonics Boom, The 13th Floor Elevators, Selda Bagcan, Ultimate Spinach, Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds, The Yardbirds, The Animals and countless more!

Some of my favorite movies are: Donnie Darko, The Shining, Re-animator, Aliens, Predator, Creature From The Black Lagoon, The Holy Mountain, Crimson Peak, Virgin Suicides, The Secret Garden.

Some of my favorite books are: The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, The Outsiders by S.E Hinton, Dune by Frank Herbert, The Time Machine by H.G Wells, Watership Down by Richard Adams.
