I am a Costa Rican guy, I am 34 years old. I am passionate about traveling, meeting new people and making friends. I am very open minded and I always try to be very receptive and assertive. I am very willing to consider new ideas and opinions. I am independent with all my things, however I am very close to my friends and relatives. I am very interested in hiking, running, food, traveling, photography, visiting new places. I am always very open to new experiences. Experiences that make me grow and I want to have great and unforgettable moments.
I work as a teacher at a public high school in Costa Rica, I have been working as a teacher for almost 11 years.
I travel as much as I can, mostly on my vacation period.
I am always searching for a new place to go and visit.
In Costa Rica, I do a lot of hiking because here we have a lot of places to go and hike. We have amazing mountains, waterfalls and places to relax. I usually try to go hiking every 15 days, specially on Saturdays or Sundays.
I have an apartment in San Jose, which is the capital of Costa Rica. I live with my cat Nico. Both of us take care of each other.
I am also very into running, I like to run 3 times a week. And I would like to have the opportunity to run a marathon outside my country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am quite interested in meeting new people, knowing more about different cultures, traditions and customs. I would like to share my passion about traveling with people that have the same passion and interests as me.
I want to know places from the locals' perspectives and words. I am sure that everyone has amazing stories to share. We are made of moments and memories and some of them have to be told and shared.
I like to help, so if I can do it.... I would be glad and quite satisfied.

Well I like to listen to everything, but I listen to pop music, both English and Spanish. Romantic songs. My favorite ones are Kylie Minogue, James Blunt, Dido, Jack Johnson, so many many more.
In terms of movies, I love The tourist, Death becomes her, woman in gold, eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, Contratiempo. I am very into action movies, suspense and terror. I like series such as Game of thrones, Scandal, Friends, The Simpsons, La casa de papel, and so many more.
I have read some Stephen King's books but the one I liked was La zona muerta.
Some other books I have read and I liked Anna Frank's diary, La princesa que creía en los cuentos de hadas (the princess that believed in fairy tales), the little prince

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, As I mentioned before, I like to have unforgettable moments that I can take with me the rest of my life. One moment I remember a lot is when I did skydiving. Such an amazing experience.
