Overview
About Me
I'm a graduate of English Language and Literature. I have spent one magical semester studying in Uppsala, Sweden and another 3 months in Belgium (Erasmus internship).
Now, I'm doing an EVS in the Netherlands.
Later on, I'd love to travel to South America or China and volunteer/ work there, but who knows until then..
I want to be adventurous, creative and nothing but an ordinary person. I fancy spontaneous experiences and childish not-supposed-to-do-at-our-age things!
If you'd like to contribute to my collection, you could bring me a magnet souvenir from your country ;)
Argiro (mentioned at the references) was my roomate back in my former home in Thessaloniki, we've met in the theatre club of our university and we decided to join our lives!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why?
- Travelling is awesome
- Meeting new joyful people is great
- Exploring different cultures from all over the world having fun with our differences or similarities is educating
When travelling I love finding spots that are not touristic or common.
I like meeting locals and getting to know their customs and way of life.
Interests
I love being outdoors and spending time at a picnic in a forest or by a lake. I believe life is best lived outdoors, it's something to explore and experience firsthand. I like challenges. I love the sea and I'm more than happy to spend weeks at a remote beach watching the sunset every day. I appreciate diversity and a simpler way of life. We don't always need big things.
Theatre came to my life unexpectedly and changed many of my viewpoints. I like learning foreign languages, as it is also a way of learning new cultures. When cooking I love improvising and adding spices unknown to me. I always try new recipes. Painting can liberate you and your sorrows. I'm interested in reusing, creating DIY projects and collecting seemingly unimportant stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is all about doing amazing things either small or big ones.
I'm really grateful I've been part of a theatre group in my university, it's one of my most challenging and important changes and experiences of my early life. It may sound exaggerative, but it's not at all. My experience cannot be described in words, cause it's all about feelings, bonds, exploring yourself and others, understanding, learning, overcoming, changing.. Also, I've seen clean waters and colorful sunsets and I'm grateful for this, too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm willing to learn pretty much everything, from languages and dances to gardening and hula hoop! Every person has something to give.
I can share with you language funny facts or some traditional dances, recipes..
What I Can Share with Hosts
My hospitality (in Greek: "filo-xenia" (friend-foreigner), my cooking skills (don't imagine something great though), my -unfortunately restricted- free time
