About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play with words.

ABOUT ME

After my year abroad in Amsterdam, I'm always looking to meet someone new. Half way bewteen a jedi padawan, a writer and a journalist; I finally discovered it's all the same. Depends on the night I rather find a chill pub or go to a club. I really love showing people my city, so we can have a good time moving around. As a journalist I'm not always available, but there's always time for a beer, a coffee and a city walk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted Vincenzo, from Italy, 2 nights in March 2012.
Hosted Myryam, from Scotland, 3 nights in April 2012.
Hosted Oscar, from Costa Rica, and his 2 friends for 3 nights in April 2012.
Hosted Kaja and Hubert, from Poland for 3 night in May 2012.
Hosted Vincenzo and Lucía for 3 nights on June 2012.

As you can see, it's mostly from 2012, my year abroad. It's harder to host in Costa Rica, but maybe we can fix something out.

Interests

Writing and reading, having a nice chat with a beer, knowing places and people. I like journalism and literature, so if you are into it, let me know! Videogames and chess. Football.

Music: Rock oldies like Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Cure and newer great bands like The Fratellis, The Greenhorns, or The Vaccines. Indies like Awolnation, Vance Joy and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made what I like to call a "Sun-Trip". I drove with a friend to the Costa Rica's caribbean coast on friday, saw the sunrise of saturday, drove across the country to the pacific and saw the sunset of saturday in a beach. Same sun, same day, two different oceans. Cool experience.

Road trip with 12 international students from Amsterdam on the French Riviera, departing Genoa in Italy and arriving in Barcelona. If you imagine that holidays in the Côte d'Azur means luxury hotels and lobster meals, I may have a cool story for you.

Been stranded 1:00 a.m. in a Hannover gas station while hitch-hiking on my way to Hamburg. Decided to spend the night on the place, bought some Coca-Cola to stay awake and spend the night between books, cards, and chatting with Lars, the coolest gas station worker ever.

Working for almost a year in a non-profit bar in Amsterdam, handling everything from music to security and meeting so so so many people. Every night was unique.
