Music, Movies, and Books
movies: too many to mention actually. some that i could think of at the top of my head are inception, memento, up, ratatouille, shawshank redemption, legally blonde, erin brockovich, grave of the fireflies, fight club, pulp fiction.
music: i don't have any specific genre that i specifically listen to (classical maybe) as i try to be open to all kinds of music. however i do love adele, michael buble, john legend, maroon 5, taylor swift, and katy perry. (so mainstream i know but what can i do.)
books: i used to read a lot back then but not so much nowadays but if i have to pick one it has got to be the little prince. some books that i could't put down until i've read it cover to cover are harry potter, sophie's world, da vinci code, and perfume.
i am an avid gamer (RPG to exact) and some of my all time favourites are final fantasy, suikoden series, persona series, and valkyrie profile. it's not asked but i guess i'll just mention it anyway. it makes a really interesting conversation topic. haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
if i had to pick one it has got to be deciding to pursue my master's degree here in NYC. sometimes i wonder why i did this to myself when i saw the endless stream of assignment deadlines but it's still a rewarding experience nonetheless.
other notable things i've done are 5-week solo trip around europe and turkey and 3-week solo trip to the US. suffice to say they're both life-changing. the more i travel the more i want to travel more. (hope that makes sense.)
Teach, Learn, Share
i am indonesian so i can definitely teach some bahasa indonesia if anyone is interested. i also have a passion in design & mobile photography so i might be able to give insights about which apps to use and how. (spoilers: they're snapseed and vscocam.)
i would love to learn foreign languages from all over the world. i took french and japanese classes back then in high school but unfortunately not much stick. some that i'm eager to learn are french, spanish, japanese, korean, italian, and german. not sure when i could (or if i'll ever manage to) learn them all but i hope the interest to learn those is a start.
What I Can Share with Hosts
hopefully good conversation, new experience, and treasured memories. :D
