Sobre Mim
CURRENT MISSION
To write my way to freedom.
ABOUT ME
I am a 27-year-old marketing professional for an independent book publishing company in Houston, TX. I fancy myself a travel writer and blog about my travels constantly. I love to experience different cultures and appreciate immersion whenever possible. I am a certified scuba diver and a budget-savvy traveler. I love people, food, and fun, and am always looking to make new friends! I've traveled all around the U.S. and am working my way around the world. I'm responsible, clean, and respectful of others :).
PHILOSOPHY
See what everyone has, and do everything they haven't. A life that's not lived is still lost.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the summer of 2012 I went on a three-week trip to Scandinavia and had the best experience with two hosts, whom I loved. My trip would not have been the same without their friendship, company, and guidance. There's nothing like knowing a local :).
In one instance, I stayed with a girl in Denmark and not only did her mother let us borrow her car to drive to the beach, but her family also had a traditional Danish meal waiting for us when we got back so that I could have the experience. It was wonderful!

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
I've had a lot of cool experiences, but going to Ein Gedi in Israel a few years ago is at the top of my list...specifically slathering mineral mud all over my body and floating in the Dead Sea mid-January. A little chilly, but highly recommended ;).
